Bottlebrush Hot Pink may just be the pinkest of all the bottlebrushes. Bottlebrush plants originate from Australia and do very well in our climate. They are a hardy, drought tolerant plant, once established. Hot Pink is evergreen, has gray-green leaves and puts out a profusion of bright pink spiked flowers. The plant can be used as a specimen plant, shrub border or trained as a small tree growing 5 to 8 feet tall. Bottlebrush Hot Pink is a nectar plant that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies, it flowers heavily in late spring and again more lightly in autumn. Be among the first to have this unique and beautiful plant in your garden. Bottlebrush Hot Pink is a new offering for the Spring 2019 Master Gardener’s Plant Sale March 23, 2019.
